New low-alcohol beer for restaurant chain

MAD CAT CREATES LOW ALCOHOL BEER FOR ROSA’S THAI

And it tastes really good!

Mad Cat has created a new low alcohol beer for its partners Rosa’s Thai.  Made from the Saaz Hop, it’s called ‘Mai Mao Alcohol Free Light Beer’ (which means ‘not drunk in Thai’!). It is 0.5% ABV. The beer will be served exclusively in Rosa’s Thai restaurants as well as Mad Cat’s other creation for the restaurant, ‘Rosa’s Thai PA’.

Delicious low-alcohol alternative

The Mad Cat brewers have really enjoyed the challenge of producing a genuinely tasty low-alcohol beer.  Which is why we’re chuffed to bits with the end result.  It’s a great alternative for people who want to minimise their alcohol intake, but still enjoy the flavour of a proper artisan pint.

Creating flavoursome low alcohol beers is notoriously difficult, which is why it is relatively rare for small brewers to attempt it.  Even though it was hard work, we think it tastes great, without the slight metallic taste you find in some low-alcohol beers.

Working with commercial partners

As a small business, Mad Cat can be very flexible which means we could react and adapt to Rosa’s Thai’s needs.  This enabled us to work closely with the restaurant team on areas such as flavour, branding and fulfilment.

Mad Cat is very keen to work with other commercial partners on creating own-label, low-alcohol beers.  The team can work with businesses on orders of a minimum 3,000 bottles. We would be delighted to hear from anyone interested in adding wonderful low-alcohol beer to their menu.
